ADAC provides information about anxiety disorders, and encourages research and public education. There is a page on social anxiety, another page on treatments for anxiety disorders, as well as suggested books and helpful links.
 

The Social Anxiety Institute
This site provides a definition of the disorder, information on treatment options, articles and essays, as well as a therapy program on audio tape.


The Warm Line is run by Progress Place. Progress Place is a community centre for those recoverying from a major mental illness. They operate the Warm line, a supportive chat line, for people in Metropolitan Toronto with mental health problems to call when they are feeling lonely, isolated or distressed and are in need of someone to chat to. This line is staffed by consumer/survivors of the mental health system. The line is open Monday to Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, times when most other services are closed.


This bookshop specialises in providing books for mental health professionals and the general public.  One of the largest psychology bookshops in North America, it is located in downtown Toronto at 98 Harbord St.
